Basketball Season Ticket Changes
Received a letter in the mail about basketball season tickets. A few changes...

1) Season ticket holders will no longer receive actual tickets - you will instead receive a ticket 'card', like a credit card/rewards card, which will be scanned at the entrance. You will get 1 card per seat. You can still transfer tickets to friends/family/co-workers/etc., and they can print off the ticket.

2) All season ticket holders will receive complimentary parking passes. Rocket Fund donors will still receive premium parking depending on their donation level.

3) The Ultimate Fan plan will no longer include food & merchandise vouchers - you will only receive tickets (plus the complimentary parking pass that all season ticket holders receive).

4) All season ticket holders that renew and pay in full before 9/1 will receive a $20 gift card to Rocky's Locker.

Also, your seat section, row, and number will be printed on the card.

Not a season ticket holder but I dislike these changes. I would want to keep the tickets as memories. Interesting that they have removed the food and gift shop vouchers when they still offer that for football

Bad move to tinker with the Fan Plan...I think they'll see a decrease in those sold.

But it might not be worth it to sell them if they are losing money on them.

I like the card. On several occasions I've raced to Savage from Detroit Airport with my tickets fifteen miles further on. I had to go to tix window and jump through hoops to get in. I can keep the card with me at all times.
