I agree with you that people need to understand why the sign is there but how do you do that? The limit on a letter banner is 50 characters. A custom banner is $3 per square foot so that may be another option but then that just increases our costs.

I think we can maybe have links between the sites but we should keep the FBS and political efforts separate so we don't confuse / alienate folks. I'm probably tapped out as far as website building for the near future but I'd imagine a "TakeBackJMU.com" site wouldn't be too complex/difficult.

Guys, please take a breath. I encourage at least an attempt to have conversation. I'm not saying don't do it, but this type of thing must be an absolute last resort. It hurts many people and once done, it will be lasting and with possible side consequences which are not intended. I feel the frustration; however, 24 hours have barely passed. I believe the thing that really needs to happen is for the JMU president to hear your frustrations. He really needs to reach out without being surrounded by his confidants i.e. King and Bourne.

He is led to believe we are few in numbers by his "yes men". When the truth is that many supporters of JMU are simply not receiving transparent information. This would not be the case if we were not spread all over the country. There needs to be a meeting without his protectors in the room. He really needs to listen and that doesn't happen when you carry a loaded entourage everywhere you go. I really don't think mixing the latest developments with the campaign HH&C, 2Buck and others need to be mixed. Though, we all know the relationship between the two.

It has been 24 hours? Maybe 24 hours since latest f-up and attempt tk be clandestine. This has been going on too long, if they need to have a plane fly over their $62 million mistake then so be it. Lets take the gloves off, its now personal, I for one don't like being lied to, these guys are flat out liars, bottom line, they need to be held accountable.

I agree with Dadgum and BP. I don't think the banner should say anything with "jmu2fbs" on it. I think a hastag would be fine, but to the people saying "we need all 20k in BFS to know what we're saying" I say go extremely straight forward...

Banner reads: "Fire Jonathan R. Alger"

If anyone in BFS on Homcoming doesn't know what that means, they are a lost cause anyway.

Call the Daily News Record and ask how much is would cost to print a page respectfully requesting that the JMU administration publically and transparently address the JMU/athletic conference issue as at Sept 23, 2015. 4 years on monitoring and excellently engaging fluidity has led to what exactly?...1) turning down the Sunbelt and lying about it...2) Alger going out of his way for no clear reason to denounce COA stipends...something is amiss...
