He was at St. Joe 2006-10.

He had some great teams at St.Joe.
Attended one of the St.Joe vs Stevensville Lakeshore games back then. Atmosphere & tailgating was higher than many college games.

As a Lakeshore grad I can tell that there is nothing like the "war by the shore". Two schools less than 10 miles apart that hate each other. They considered us farmers because Stevensville is fairly rural.We took that as a compliment.

I was lucky enough to be a part of two battles and we won one. "Farmer's Friday" was the highlight of me high school career.

Has his work cut out for him at Benton Harbor. The Tigers are 4-68 over the past 8 years including going 0-9 the past two seasons. They were outscored 349-75 last season. Since 1985, Benton Harbor's enrollment has steadily dropped from about 1800 kids to about 630...and it's still dropping.

They are leaving the SMAC after this season and he will look like a genius when they play competition closer to their level.

That's good. They have been playing superior competition for some time now.

what conference is BH joining? Please tell me it is not the SAC with the likes of Bangor, Decatur, Hartford, Fennville, Gobles, Lawton, etc.

They havent announced it yet, but I assume they will be independent for awhile.

Where did you get that?

Nothing in GAZETTE story a week ago or HERALD-PALLADIUM this week.

They may try to get in that division because their new AD previously worked at both Comstock and Buchanan, but hasn't been done yet.

It's not "official" yet. That's why.

What will be interesting to follow is where does Niles go when they leave the league shortly.
