Perhaps you are right. You haven't recently gone to streaming commercial ads have you? Because I get one every time I visit I get one and after that, I can't get rid of them no matter where I go.

Malware is smart enough now to hide itself on popular websites. Everybody knows the Google search page should be almost completely empty. Injecting a crapton of ads there rings alarm bells even for granny.

Here people know there is some advertising, and they may just assume I got overboard with it.

I actually am very restrictive about the style and type of ads I allow to run. No pop-ups. No narcoleptic flashing crap. Nothing with audio. Etc.
