You know it's bad when there's someone who is more of a Big Ten nut job than H1 is.

That's your fantasy.
It's fun having fantasies on the internet, isn't it? Just a couple guys, posting a bunch of made up stuff.

no, you are the one posting a bunch of made up stuff. Pretty much anyone with a smidge of a clue knows that the Big Ten West is closer to being the worst division compared to being one of the best divisions.

Stanford/Minnesota- Stanford would win pretty easily
Washington/Nebraska- would be a good game
California/Iowa- Iowa would probably win
Wash St/Illinois- Illinois would probably win
Oregon St/Northwestern- tossup
So it would be probably 3-3. But I'd take P12 North over B10 west because of the top teams in the North being better than the top teams in the west.
If we were captains of this match up Steve I would pit Minnesota against your Washington and then Nebraska against Stanford. They match up better that way. The only win that I would give you up front would be the Oregon win against Wisconsin. After that though it's a toss up and that's my point.
The West division obviously has a lot to prove but it's not definitively the worst it's just one of the worst.
I was just going off of the final standings from last year. The 2's were Minnesota and Stanford. The 3's were Washington and Nebraska.
Bottom line- it's definitely not one of the best as Bison was claiming earlier in the thread. No where close.
Yeah well, I'm not making that argument but your comment about being a Big Ten nut job is off base. Other people get more emotional about The Big Ten in a negative way than I do in the other direction. I simply counter all the negative bs with common sense.
I am not saying the West is the best. I am simply saying that this is another case of someone focusing on something about The Big Ten negatively. The PAC had an equivalent division and yet folks said all season long that the PAC was competing to be the best football conference last season.

This post right here just shows you are being more emotional and "nutty" about this than I am.

You haven't posted a single thing relevant to the discussion that wasn't made up in your own mind for your own entertainment/trolling purposes.

Where the difference between the Pac 12 North and Big Ten west is at the top. Oregon last year was a lot better than Wisconsin last year. That's all. Really there were 3 pretty poor divisions- Pac 12 North, ACC Coastal, and Big Ten West. I look at the P12 north as being best of those 3 because they had the best team of the 3 divisions in Oregon. Also they only had 6 teams- a 7th team would have likely gotten Cal in a bowl game which helps the optics out some.
I don't see any rational argument that has the big Ten west(or any of those 3)- ahead of either SEC division, the P12 South, the Big Ten East, or the ACC Atlantic.

That's handy, seeing how there is no rational way to rank divisions.

I'm not worried about the match up at the top any more than I am any other match up in a direct comparison of division vs division. It's just one game.
I don't think most of us would bother to try and argue The Big Ten West was better than some of those divisions but at the same time it was well proven that some of the teams that make up those divisions were overrated. So, you can go ahead and hold on to those over hyped ratings but you are looking a little obsessed with The Big Ten West right about now.
As long as you guys continue to focus on The Big Ten, it will always be Big Brother.

The same way you can say it's the worst division. I never said I was being rational.
