RE: Football seat selection process
Do we know if they will be giving out student tickets ahead of time or will they just cram them in as they can?

RE: Football seat selection process
There will be a process in place for students to get their tickets in advance of the game, and they will have to use this procedure. There will not be a way to arrive at the game and simply flash a student ID.

Any unused students tickets (those not claimed prior to the set deadline), will be offered for sale. The expectation is that students will use all their seats and there won't be any returning to the athletic department.

So in other words Scott is simply copy and pasting UTK's system, only not charging a price at the window for students to go, correct?

Also, will there be temporary seating added all home game tickets are sold out in the permanent, fixed seating?

I know I'll be there. Any recommendations on near by hotels, things to do, eat, etc.? Ill prob come up Wednesday and leave on Saturday
There's a few good places to eat at. Ridgewood Barbecue in Bristol, nationally recognized barbecue place, and Cootie Brown's in Johnson City, they specialize in a lot of things. (I personally love their pizza, burgers, and tomales.)

Thank you sir! Looking forward to the trip!

if you don't want to drive all the way out to Ridgewood(and try and find it) The Firehouse Restaurant just down the street from ETSU is a good BBQ place.

And where did that come from, dragging up that old UT crap? Sure, with the amount of money UT spends on football, they could buy that high school stadium as another practice facility when purchasing a sizable slice of Johnson City.

Looks like y'all don't realize the context of my post. That is what the naysayers would say, not how I feel.

RE: Football seat selection process
Talked to a guy in the ticket office yesterday since I missed the lottery living out of state and all. He said tickets will be mailed out next week and I am stoked.

I obviously won't be making it up to all the games. As of right now I'm only planning on going to the opener against KSU and I'm reserving the homecoming tickets. Outside of that I'd be more than happy to get my 2 tickets in the hands of people who can get to the games each week. Anyone interested?
