Any fan of any team can ask in March, "Who have they played?" What is not so obvious since it is not public knowledge, is "Who has refused to play them?" This former statement is constantly thrown into the face of midmajor teams who have occasionally defeated P5 teams when given the chance. Boise State for instance has complained that top P5 teams won't sign H&H contracts with them - only always at their place deals, if that. Since the NCAA does not lower the RPI of teams for refusing to play certain schools (out of FEAR), the P5 kings continue to rule their roost.
