Don't know what Stone did right out of high school. Virtually no recruiting news on him. He graduated HS in Spring of 2012. In Spring of 2013, he was added as a walk on to WVUs' roster. He was still listed as a non scholarship player in early December 2013 (see above article). He then transferred to Lackawanna CC where he participated in Spring practice 2014 and played that fall for them. JMU football web page has him listed as a redshirt sophomore.

Even though he was not a Big 12 scholarship level player, he does have an intriguing athletic background. He wrestled in high school. He also was a pretty accomplished track guy. Has very good speed for a lineman. Hudl lists his 40 time at 4.68. Might be a real pleasant surprise for us.

Is he scholly or walkon at JMU?

RE: Projections for 2015?
8-3, going 2-1 in the playoffs

1st round: beat Chattanooga at home
2nd round: beat seeded Liberty on the road in a thriller
3rd round: lose to seeded Nova on the road, in a revenge game for them (think we beat them in h'burg)

that's a big swing from the 7-4 record i felt for most of the offseason. Kool-Aid must be getting to me.

Projections for 2015?
I am also going to go with 8-3, but I will say 1-1 in the playoffs.
For a team that is replacing this many starters, I think that would be a pretty good year.

'Nova is the only team i feel worried about. The others are going to be good games but I think we win them. SMU will be a close one but we get it together and come home with a FBS win. So for now I predict 10-1, a deep run in the playoffs as NDSU get handed they butts in the dome.
