Jimbo Fisher and others
While we are killing time.......
Saw where Jimbo and his wife are calling it quits.....Is this a normal (everyone who signs a 21 million dollar contract should be considered normal) guy and wife pulled apart by the day to day life. However, is it that coaching does take its toll more than other careers? I assume there are a good many possibilities......but one thing bothers me in this case ......did we get a glimpse into his way of thinking in his vehement excuse protection of poor Jameis Winston......or would you guys coaches not been quite so vocal about a kid like Jameis.....does that give any idea of I will accept whatever it takes to win.....in my private life too...?.

I do not get to judge but given how I felt when I saw over the past couple years what Jimbo was willing to pass over.......I am not shocked at all............Maybe too it is all her.

I was disgusted by Jimbo's relentless protection of just a " young guy who makes mistakes" Yes young people do.....and old people do too..

I take no joy in their divorce....I would not wish that upon my worst enemy (having done so myself).....

I just felt he was over the top in his protection of his misunderstood poor decision making in life qb......and hope to heck that that sort of mentality did not drift over into his marriage.

Jimbo's wife (Candy) was banging her personal trainer. They're not getting a divorce cause of his work schedule or his defense of Jameis.

It's Candi (I just googled her), and she's not that hot!

Figured a coach making that kinda loot would have a smoking wife.

See now I know....or sort of .......still do not like his defense of Jameis....although other coaches may do the same......hopefully some would not have............that little info you gave above was not in the google article.....and while you say that it was not due to work schedule none of us are sure of the contributing....NOT TO BE BLAMED...factors that went into the demise of the marriage...I wish them the best....as I said I don't wish divorce on my worst enemy..

if I had been elected mod, I would have locked this thread. lol pointless discussion that links a head coach and turns into disapproval of defending jameis winston.

this thread is bound to go nowhere.

That is quite the bridge you've built.

Maybe I'm just coffee'd up and burned out from this week, but it seems you are really stretching things.

true the real question is do you think your coach would have defended Jameis in the same fashion or....? My hopes are most would not have...but who knows.....just poor PR aspect for FSU program.

Moved since this has zero to do with SBC Athletics.

Well I am a mod and I'm locking it. There is no point in discussing someone's private life on this board, especially since it doesn't relate to the SBC.
