Looks like lots of Hawks fans were right that McMahon was bound to be a head coach soon. Only weeks after leaving Murray St for La Tech he is the front runner to replace Steve Prohm who is going to Iowa State. As soon as he left UNCW the whole program seemed to go downhill fast and it appeared that Matt's work ethic had been a big part of Buzz's first year accomplishments and that went away with him. The remaining coaches all didn't seem to get how much effort it was going to take to restore the Hawk program.

Good to see him getting his chance, as it's well deserved. I really like where our program is right now though and not even trying to think about the past. That page turned. I'm all for the folks that helped us in the past succeeding, but Coach Keatts has the magic baby!!!!
