There were three Rah Rah Rah ACC threads, and they were all started by the same poster. The same as you were the first or one of the first to respond negatively in all 3 of those threads. You are in a class all by yourself with tour hating.

It's a minority, but it is a vocal minority. As a Syracuse fan I've been dealing with this since I came on these boards back in 2004. Up until 2013, the vitriol was mostly directed at the Big East with a little toward the ACC (mostly from Big East and ECU posters). With the Big East no longer a football playing conference, the attention has turned toward the ACC with the B12 the secondary target.

It's part of being on these boards.

Cheers,
Neil

Oh please, no one gets more hate than the Big Ten around here. The difference is that the ACC has oodles and oodles of vocal defenders here. I don't feel sorry for you guys at all.

If we counted "hate" posts as denigrating the conference on the field (not envying how much money it makes or does not make), you'd lose on that statement. You just are an overly sensitive poster that imagines slights when none are intended.

Cheers,
Neil

To be fair, no other conference but the ACC has had a member's BOT give internet banter gravitas. You would think they would be smarter than that. As such, an attack will be responded to.

BTW, what Maryland has divulged to the B1G is far more damaging to the ACC than anything some posters could possibly do. Real information costs money. Most likely the best money the B1G has ever spent.

Nice projection job with that post.

There is a difference between actually hating a conference and simply saying you think a conference is weak in a particular aspect or is vulnerable in realignment. Realignment talk is what this board thrives upon despite what all the silly new posters try to say.

For you to try and say that "no slights were given"? Pathetic.

I don't even know how a Syracuse guy can even begin to come at me like that. You have barely even been part of the ACC, so to begin talking as if your experience is any where near as relevant as mine, that is just laughable. I have damn near been the only Big Ten poster around here at times, defending the conference all by myself while others were saying it would be irrelevant in football "for eternity".

Get the F out of here bandwagon guy with your expansion school acting like you are victims of "ACC Hate".

Sure, I have no problem with any of this that you have just stated. That's all right and rational. That is much different though than this victim mentality that so many ACC posters around here try to project. The ACC lost one school and they can blame themselves for that by certain ACC schools devaluing their relationship with Maryland within the conference. If that never happened then the loss of sports programs and money issues wouldn't have driven Maryland away.

The Big Ten was approached awhile back by Maryland to start getting serious about the talks, not the other way around.

So are you saying Maryland was duplicitous in their dealing with the ACC?

In regards to the context of the term that I used with Syracuse? Yes, they are. I don't even know why you would need to ask that. Is this an attempt to come at me with some witty retort? The fact that they are State schools doesn't change the fact that they are recent expansions for their respective conferences. They don't have history in their current conferences.
