Outsider's opinion, but the ideal Blazer schedule for 2016 only would be 8 C-USA opponents and 4 FCS opponents.

Yep I dont think 2016 would be a big year to worry about bowl eligibility.

The Labor Day Classic between Miles and North Alabama on Sunday September 6th, Tuskegee vs Stillman on October 17th, and The Birmingham Bowl will also be played at the Old Gray lady this season.

Vs Birmingham Southern, vs Alabama State, vs Alabama A&M, @Kentucky (already scheduled).

That would be a good slate, too, although I'd at least try to reschedule the UK game if possible.

This non-official (but usually reliable, IMHO) source does not show the UAB/UK game currently scheduled: http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sec/kent...ldcats.php

Hell with that. Opening Game, Legion Field. Thursday night, UAB v. the Fight Irish of Notre Dame!

In other words, make it special. It's not going to be about wins and losses anyway.

I didn't realize Miles and UNA would be playing at Legion Field. Might have to go cheer for my grandfather's alma mater (UNA/Florence State). Bham Bowl is in January, right? So that's 2016 (which I guess technically this past season's bowl was played there in 2015).

RE: ESPN Game Day
If you can get Notre Dame or Auburn, go for it. But overall, you should try to get some games where UAB would be favored. Because while it's not Only about Ws and Ls, that is a big part of it. It always is.

If y'all can get somebody local to each Gameday location, I can get a flag there.

Did the Kentucky contract include a return trip?
