They will play us or Tulane tomorrow night. If necessary, the final game of the regional would be played on Monday.

It's about when a game starts. So technically the game was played yesterday even though it didn't end until today. I know, it sounds crazy but that's the way the ncaa probably looks at it.

Yeah that must be it. Thats dumb though. About 45 minutes was played on saturday while the other 2 hours was on sunday. The rule should read a 24 span not one day.

I have often heard it said that its a fine line between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
