I did a bit of battle in the al.com comments, but that was in defense of FreeUAB.

As is said - "A fish would stay out of trouble if he kept his mouth shut". Rising to such outlandish "bait" is a sign of extreme insecurity on our part. Just accept that there are many college sports fans who have never learned anything in college - many having never been there. EX: Harvey Updike.

It may also explain why they have such huge crowds for their Spring game. It may be the only Bama game they can afford since it is free.
