Interesting note: Scherri-Lee Biggs was born in South Africa and grew up on a farm in Ballito Bay. She and her family emigrated to Australia when she was 8, growing up in Perth, thus making her an African-Austrailian. Had she moved to America instead, Scherri would be an African-American instead. She won Miss Universe Australia in 2011 and then went on to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paula Brazil, where she finished in the top ten.

The news anchor is Louise Momber.
