This was due to the ejection from the Tulane game

Not sure but more than probably there was contact for the NCAA to suspend him for 5 games

I was at two of three of the games..... Umps were atrocious. I know he lost it game three in the ninth inning and just got more livid until after the game. There were a bunch of bad calls for both sides and I was even screaming at the umps at the end of game three with Kingston as they went into the dugout. Those umps should be ashamed of their actions during the series. Coach wasn't being a spoiled sport just taking up for his players.

I love Kingston. Those umps ****** us. Plain and simple and he did what he needed to. He gained alot of respect of his players for not taking that lying down.

None of us were there, so we do not know the circumstances that led to the suspensions. Was he pushed into the refs? Etc. easy to make that conclusion without knowing the circumstances.
By the way the AAC gave him a 1 game suspension it was the NCAA who later added 4

Its highly doubtful he was pushed into the ump lol. Obviously it was enough to warrant the NCAA to step in and increase the suspension. Either way it was a dumb move on his part.

As I said none of us saw it. So we can't say either way.
With that said its done and the team must move on. Hopefully they play like they did yesterday and not early Thursday

Mark Kingston from his years at Tulane under Coach Rick Jones is a great individual. The five game suspension in my opinion was excessive. USF v Central Florida baseball on national tv now.

Umps were terrible for both teams. How both head coaches didn't take turns hitting them with a bat is beyond me. I would suspect the contact came in the tunnel as they were leaving. Space is much tighter and Kingston was livid.
