The conference has existed 2 years. Cinci is 10-13 vs Houston lifetime. The last Cinci victories were by one score after Cinci spent nearly 10 years in a BCS AQ league while Houston was stuck in CUSA. We are 16-10 during our two season in the AAC. We were bowl eligible both years and are 1-1 in our bowl games (both games vs P5 opponents). If thats "not jack" then that must be an example of that Bearkat logic we here so much about. You and Bearcat #1 need to go have a couple of beers together.

Your logic is astounding! What is Houston's all time record against UC in basketball? I said AAC, you immediately go to all time to bolster your weak a$$ argument. UH has done jack nothing in the AAC in either major sport, are you deaf?

lol. No but you're dumb as bag of hammers. We are reading text you baffoon. Hearing would be irrelevant.

I posted the lifetime numbers and then followed with the AAC football record over the last two years. I'm sorry it refuted your mouthy point. Cant help you there. Houston basketball has been weak during the last 2 years. I don't think anyone has claimed otherwise. Nobody is taking about basketball (except you because your weak sauce argument fell apart). But since you bring it up, we have hired a top flight coach, built a new basketball practice facility, and are planning a 40 million+ renovation of the basketball arena---so we are making an effort to improve that sport. Not sure what your trolling of Houston is all about, but the reality is Houston has "done jack" during the 2 years of AAC existence.

Dumb as a bag of hammers? My original post included basketball you moron. Not only do they not teach sarcasm at Coog high, they dont teach reading comprehension. Just quit dude. SMH

Correct Mr Bag-O-Hammers. You also included football in the original dumb post---which was why the statement was so wrong (and therefore why you want so badly to concentrate on the basketball portion of your original post). Hammerheads are way too easy. 02-13-banana

Its clear you are pretty uninformed and are just trolling. I dont typically bother with such posters. You can blather on if you wish but Im done with you.

I don't mean to knock Temple, they railroaded our season, congrats. But that game was a F-ing fluke, right up there w/Tulane 2013. Game was played in a frigid monsoon, outgain them 2 to 1, they get every call, and every bounce/turnover goes their way.

Sorry, not buying Temple as league champs. I think they'll be something along the order of 5-7 or 6-6.

A team that returns a stacked defense and much improved offense will have a worse record?

I could see 6-6 or 7-5. It's not out of the question that Temple comes up with 1 win among UCF/ECU/Cincy/Memphis.

And if they go 6-6 they're in a bowl this time for no other reason than the AAC has more tie ins to use.

We are all going to beat up on one another to an extent. That's the nature of a conference schedule. Its a zero sum game---For every winner there must be a loser. The real key is to do much better than last year in our OOC games. We need to win at least a third of our P5 games and we need to have a very healthy winning percentage against the G5. We need to really dominate our G5 OOC opponents (an .800 or better winning percentage would be nice).

Basketball I have no argument for we have no excuse, but I am confident things will turn around (but I don't go bragging about it)

As for football I will go so far as to say we took a step back in the last 2-3 years and almost killed the momentum we had building for a decade. That said at best you can say we should be better but we have been a program that has far exceeded "jack".

Your ignorance is impressive.

Jack nothing in the AAC.

Ok......... Neither one of us has won the AAC in its 2 years of existence so not sure where your coming with this.

We are 16-10-0 during our time in the AAC (10-6 in conference). During the same period Cincy is 18-8 (13-3 in conference).

So you have a 2 game lead on us overall and a 3 game lead in conference.

As far as bowls we are 1-1 and you are 0-2.

The one thing I will say is you have beat us head to head twice (17-24 and 31-38) in the AAC but we are 13-10-0 overall against you. History has proven we are the better program head to head. Scoreboard is all that matters but you have won by a combined 14 points not really a juggernaut here.....

I hope we see more of each other head to head to prove that fact. I look forward to your fact based counter argument or will you simply hide behind simple thinking and short retorts?......
Shared the conference crown in football last year, shared it in basketball the year before, but don't let facts get in your way, or is that the coog logic I hear so much about?

Congrats to Temple on the positive national publicity !

I agree with those who predict an improved Temple in 2015. However, I also believe the AAC will be much improved overall in 2015, so winning this conference will not be easy for Temple or Cincy or anyone else this fall !
