RE: Houston baseball coaches son
I remember that series being pretty hostile, there is probably bad blood between the two teams. Irregardless, not cool.

This is very entertaining and immature on his part. Maybe he is drunk. He is arguing with this one guy back and forth. Can anyone from UCF give context to this other than they(coach and son) are upset about losing the series earlier this year.
i went to read the tweets you are talking about.... are you reading them? he is making sarcastic responses back at ucf fans who are being sensitive....he hasnt argued anything....
Have the wordplay however you want it. Arguing, engaging, talking...
He is engaging with UCF fan(s) over a very immature comment about UCF baseball. He started this, without his initial comment there would not be any discussion. Whatever comes his way bc of this is on him.
Take your homer glasses off.

so he cant have free speech or make jokes about people being sensitive????
he basically said on HIS twitter about how he enjoyed ucfs collapse, so he cant have opinons about sports, you shouldnt read any other athletes twitter page if you think thats immature as EVERY athlete who is active on twitter has opinio/tweets like that..
and arguing is "houston is better" "no ucf is better".....tweets that read "a team i dont like did bad"...over sensitive fans react... and he makes sarcastic jokes basically saying better luck next year... is somehow arguing lol
you are just as oversenstive... get over it...this isnt anything homer...if the shoes were turned around, id realize this is sports fans trash talk, and hope id beat them the next year so i could throw it back in his face, with a reverse comment

When there are thousands of tweets hating on every AAC school from fans of other AAC schools---we might actually have a conference tv people really care about broadcasting.

He can do or say anything he wants. Just like me, you or anyone else can.
I'd say that he's coming off a bit immature, but that's possibly just my lone opinion. "Anything goes" regardless of how it looks/sounds or how it may offend anyone else is a much more the accepted communication style today than in the past.

It's certainly surprising that UCF "took a dump on themselves," to quote major league pitcher Brett Anderson. After all, they were top 15 a couple of months ago. Now they are 7th in an 8 team conference.
Anderson says its by far the best part of this season. I disagree. It's not even a close second to Houston's successful mid season adjustments.

I am not sure how heated Ucf fans are about Houston. The series have all been competitive but I don't get that vibe at all. As a pro he should know better. This sensitive bs is homerism. The guy is talking about a college baseball team. He is just mad because his dad was angry for some reason. A couple of calls didn't go his way. (It happened to both of us that series) One of his assistants was yelling obscenities after the game and giving the players the finger after his dad refused to shake hands after the game. It's bs and immature.

Frank Anderson is not the head coach. He's an assistant. He coaches the pitchers. He himself has no assistants. Todd Whitting is the UH head baseball coach.
Frank Anderson has been around the college game forever. He won a CWS as a pitching coach at Texas. He was head coach at Oklahoma St for a decade. If he got so mad that he would not shake hands after a game, it was not because:
1. A couple of calls went against him, or
2. UH lost the series 2 to 1.
Rather, he must have been directly provoked by the UCF coaches, players or administrators. Pure and simple.

Must have huh? The players were jawing with eachother. To my knowledge our program has never behaved that way. Even more reason for him not to act that way.

Good point Attackcoog
I like the fact that the non contact sport games are building heat, can't wait to see what football the contact games will bring.

I have personal knowledge of how UCF acts. It's not flattering.
For example, the student cheer group at UCF circulates a flyer on how to taunt opposing teams and their fans. When we played basketball there a few years ago, the UH flyer depicted a friend of mine's wife (who attended the game) in pornographic situations with one of our players. They were on her all game long.
We took it up with the league office.
So don't even try to lecture anyone about "class," UCF.

They do have heckles in the game data but I have never seen anything like that. And where exactly did they get your friends wife's picture. Just a random fan?

And btw if college kids did that it still doesn't speak to a pro player acting like that. The players, coaches, and former players haven't acted that way to my knowledge. It's funny how people are defending a pro ball player by throwing dirt. Seems like a political campaign
