My favorite part is where the one kid explains that it's really cool that the angle of the numbers is 18° on the top and 34° on the bottom because Wake Forest was founded in 1834. Up until that point I thought it was cynical marketing spin, but then I realized it was really a history lesson.

First real change in our uniform design in years. I like the historical references & Wake-centric touches like "Deacon Tough" and the Deacon head on the collar. At first glance, I wasn't thrilled with the sleeves, but I realize that players & recruits are into funky uniform designs and I'm not the one the school needs to please. Props to the athletic department for making the move forward in both design & materials!

How much is WFU's uniform contract worth to Nike?

Really? Have we *really* been reduced to calling uniforms "state of the art?"

I like the new Wake uniforms. While the sleeve pattern and chrome gold helmet is a little hokey (as opposed to Hokie which should stand forever as the term used for ridiculous helmet designs) they stuck with a traditional style for their uniforms, and they embrace their primary schools colors equally unlike a number of schools. Even with the new uniforms people aren't going to have to hit the guide button on their TV remote to make sure that the Demon Deacons are playing.

Look forward to seeing the uniforms in action.
