LOL, Carden and his noodle arm wont even make practice squad in Chicago.

It doesn't matter how strong his arm is, if he is the most proficient at taking care of the ball. That said, I'm not expecting him to start in week 1.

When you know the deep ball isn't an option, what's to stop defenses from stacking the box?

What's the point of running a play action if the advantage gained from the safeties biting on the run is negated by a weak arm, that cannot traverse distance far enough or fast enough?

Still 2 more than that sh*t league Villanova is in. 03-lmfao

Not to mention the fact that those first 2 came in the 1st Round. That fact alone wont be downplayed on AAC recruiting trails. While the kids want to get drafted, they pay the greatest attention to the first round.

From a Temple perspective, next year should be much better. 3-4 players have a legit shot at being drafted. Matakevich, Ioannidis, Young, and Friend. Plus a couple others (Wells, Walton) could play themselves into late round selections.

Its not the deep ball that is the drawback. Its the long throw across the field. If a defense knows a qb cant make that throw, that's what they will try to make him throw. Look at the pick 6 balls. Most are to the flat and without enough behind them. That's Carden's knock, not that he can't throw it 70 yards downfield.

I agree with you. But talking about Navy, it is very difficult to see Annapolis draftees due the military commitment. They have to serve for 5 years or can serve 2 and try to serve the rest in the reserves.

I will say, AAC has a lot of potential with the new additions.

UCF free agents

OL Torrian Wilson - Lions
WR Rannell Hall - Bucs
LB Terrance Plummer - Redskins
CB Jacoby Glenn - Bears

I can't beleive JJ Worton has not been picked up as a free agent. The kid has a lot of heart...and a lot of talent.
