I can understand a drop off, and the potential is always there, but we have more pieces coming back than we did last year, including, most importantly, experience at O-Line which was the difference between at least 2 losses being W's.

Yeah, I would have had UCF in the top 4 still, but the top half is pretty interchangeable anyway. Is #6 really any worse than #3 or 4. Not really. IMO he has Temple slightly too high, which pushes UCF down a spot or 2.

Too many 100+ programs. We can't possibly have enough top 25 programs to offset that.

I don't really trust the OS in terms of rankings. I don't have the time to compare from past years, but they seem to rely too heavily on the previous years performance than any real prediction.

I think Tulsa will be better than #105 simply by the fact that they have 10 returning offensive players on one of the stronger offenses in the AAC, not to mention the Offense Guru from Baylor at head coach.

SMU, UConn, Tulane may be right where they need to be though. Unsure about USF, but I can't believe they have the tools to improve, especially after they keep changing their play styles each year.

Tulsa's offense should be solid enough for us to be well below the 100 rating mark. Its the defense that will keep the team from doing any better than probably the 75-80 region. Of I could be way track, but I don't think so. All of the QB's on the team are going significantly better because of some actual solid QB coaching for once.

I don't think he is. I've tweeted him several times with no response.

UVA is in a lot of trouble, both their backup QBs are transferring and there are other issues in the program.

I believe the 100+ for the bulls after watching USF last year. Your best QB left the team and that wasn't saying much

LOL, I have to admit that was a funny comeback.

White was our best pure passer, but Flowers is faaaaaar more athletic. Night and Day. When we transitioned to a spread based offense, White actually dropped to #3 on the depth chart. He can't run his way out of a paper bag. No kidding. That's why he transferred. We'll see if it pans out this year. It could be a great move. Some of our most succesful years are when we have had mobile, athletic QB's (Grothe, Daniels). If it doesn't then Taggart is gone anyway and we're back to square one. All of these #1 recruiting classes have to pan out at some point, don't they? I hope?

"half our league bottom 100?"

Since there are only 128 teams, I'd guess all except maybe 1 will be in the bottom 100. Otherwise they'd be in the top 28.

Meh, USF should not be this low. Even looking at New Mexico State and Eastern Michigan were both 2-10 last year and did not have the recruiting that USF has had. Probably should be in the high 80s
