It is exciting to see us in on so many good players on the football side of the house. We are listed with quite a few FBS teams. It will be interesting to see if we can pull any of these kids in. Or are we reaching too high and need to focus on some more realistic FCS type players. I love seeing our name mixed in with some of these recruits, but we'll see if we can sign some of them.

You can't catch a big fish if you keep casting your line in the shallow water. I like us getting on the radr for many fo these top tier talents. And even if we don't land them, they know us better should things not work out at their final choice.

Good post. Hope he develops the skill set to play FBS.

Liberty held its Turner Gill football camp over the weekend and it appears from the coaches tweets that we've picked up 3-4 commitments. I've not been able to confirm who they are yet, as the kids haven't started posting it on social media yet. I would imagine these players were on top of the board for them to accept the commitment this early in the process.

LU getting some more media attention. Virginia Pilot sports columnist, Harry Minium says in his latest article....

"I'm headed to Lynchburg this week to do a story on the remarkable transition of Liberty, which moves up to FBS next season. The Flames have the money and facilities to very quickly become competitive in FBS."
