State Senator Jabo Waggoner on Capital Journal (APT) tonight for a 20 min segment
He made it very clear that the UA System BOT has made its desires clear to him. They will fight to keep their absolute autocratic control of the whole system with no representation from its colonial (my words) holdings in Huntsville and B'ham. He asked them to join him in seeking to add four additional appointees to the BOT - two from each campus - and they said NO. He did not identify the BOT members who spoke to him, but I doubt it matters. King George III is alive and ruling successfully in Tuscaloosa, AL.

From his language (body & spoken) and facial expressions, I would not be very optimistic about relief for UAB coming from any action of the state legislature this session.
