Roger Schuler, who writes the Legal Schnauzer blog, has been hit with a libel judgement of $3.5 million dollars. I think he ran into a Legal Rottweiler.

He loves playing the victim. He'll get a lot of mileage out of this.

He got hammered in this case. This will be with him the rest of his life, assuming he doesn't make any changes through appeals. I am not surprised for him to have been so stupid to have not participated in his deposition or the hearing. That guy has brought all that on himself and he had a million chances to fix it. What a nut.

Is this related to UAB athletics in some way? Just wondering why there is no "NBR" before the title.

Shrug. Given that he's been a poster here off and on, I didn't really think about it. It's silly season.
