Since five members of the BoT met with Jabbo and don't approve of his bill, I'm all for it.

What it does though IMO is remove a lot of the ability for the BOT to do things behind closed doors.

Anything that is done that isn't legit could be openly announced by any new BOT member who isn't tied down to the BOT with balls & chains.

They don't like it because there will be BoT members that they didn't appoint and don't own.

Don't forget that even if it passes, they can always send a stooge/plant in to "represent" UAB/UAH. Total reform w/ replacements/separation it becoming about the only option to end up improving ourselves (Push the red button at Defcon 1)

Not if the NAS selects the people that it should.

Who will cry foul to the media, SACS, NCAA, and anyone else who will listen. That's something we have not historically had.

All the more reason that UAB folks need to step up and take control of our NAS. We need staunch defenders of UAB and UAB athletics representing us.
