Slavery was not unique to America but the kind of slavery where your race determines slavery status was unique to America for centuries.
What a crock - go learn history! History is FULL of particular groups being enslaved.
Really? Name one.
Admittedly it was a quick look-up, and it's from Wiki, but a bit of an excerpt:
"Portuguese trade in Japanese slaves[edit]
After the Portuguese first made contact with Japan in 1543, a large scale slave trade developed in which Portuguese purchased Japanese as slaves in Japan and sold them to various locations overseas, including Portugal itself, throughout the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.[3][4] Many documents mention the large slave trade along with protests against the enslavement of Japanese."
That took 3 minutes.
Also from Wiki:
Slavery of Native Americans was organized in colonial and Mexican California through Franciscan missions, theoretically entitled to ten years of Native labor, but in practice maintaining them in perpetual servitude, until their charge was revoked in the mid-1830s. "
Hehe - Fit, it would appear that the Mexicans participated in slavery of the Indians as well.
Two, examples in 10 minutes.
As I said - go learn some history on slavery. It was done almost globally at different times.
