Please come out and show your support not only for the effort everyone has put fourth, but also show your appreciation for our past Blazers who have give up their blood sweat and tears for this program.

What sort of PR is being used to promote this, outside of BlazerTalk?? I hope that the general public and the non-BT Blazer fans will get information about these events so that they can participate.

The AP is doing a story. A prominent college football blogger on yahoo is doing a story, and you can bet the local news will pick it up. It's been all over social media for months and has been seen by tens of thousands of UAB people (one UAB-centered Facebook group alone has over 11,000 members).

The word is out. It should be a cool event - whether it's a few hundred or a few thousand.

Put it up on your Facebook pages if you have not. Tell your friends. Contact old school buddies and ask if they're coming.

Do anything you can to get bodies there. Please.

I'll miss some of the game because I'm teaching from 10am-noon on that day, but I bought a ticket to the Iron City after party.
