Those of us with the ability to have intelligent conversation are attempting to hash something out and your special kind of wacky just isnt needed. No go on... walk away. Well get your helmet and crayons later.

Actual picture of south florida's trophy case:
On a scale of 1-10 how upset does this make you?

Atleast I'm just sticking to sports smack talk on a sports smack talk forum. All that other stuff is a little unnecessary but I must've struck a nerve haha

No come back relating to sports? Just personal attacks haha I guess thats what you do when you have no room to back up your team.

I don't think you will ever experience something like this but this is what a good atmosphere is like at your on campus stadium:

Its a lot better than this:

Oh and here is an example of just one of our trophy cases lol (you don't have any of these):

(04-04-2015 09:03 AM)mtmedlin Wrote:  Jared, we will never agree. You keep trying to attempt to say it was an accident. It wasnt. Your coach has a history of pushing kids too far and being verbally abusive and in this case, because your medical staff wasnt properly trained nor prepared it resulted in the death of a child. Your coach made this child run after collapsing a minimum of three times. How do you defend that? That is a fact that nobody can counter because it is what happened and the court has ruled. Culpable negligence isnt a tragedy. Its an active engagement or participation leading to the death of someone. In other words, your school was found responsible for being an active part of killing this kid.

Second, the lawsuit has been settled for some time.... and yet no apology. I find that unforgivable.

Now, before we go back and forth again, please go back and read the damn thread. I didnt bring up the subject. I responded to one of your fans that tried to say it was the childs fault. He was WRONG. It is in the court records and confirmed by UCF that they did indeed know that he had sickle cell. For your fan base to try to blame a child for his death is WRONG. I havent said a word about this in some time but if your fanbase is going to attempt to blame a victim you bet like hell ill put a boot in ass and counter such a perverted claim.

You want to let it die, then I am fine with that but each and every time one of your fans posts wrong information about his death or UCF habit of cheating, then I will set the record straight.

The lawsuit is ongoing so you're wrong http://espn.go.com/college-football/stor...eme-court. You know if you were genuinely interested information that didn't fit your specific narrative, a quick google search can refute most of your positions while others are subjective and you're certainly entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

I did miss the appeal. Ill give you that... but you havent refuted one single aspect of the actual account that I have posted. Furthermore, I find it interesting that you spend time fighting me but not educating your own fans about the truth when it comes to whether or not the UCF staff knew about Planchers Sickle cell.

This whole thing got stirred up again by your own fans trying to say that his death was his own fault because he didnt inform UCF of his trait. You and I both know that is wrong since UCF has acknowledged that it was discovered during a physical. So again, if you want this to die and not be brought up, I would suggest keeping your own fans from not making false accusations and blame the victim in this case. The blame falls squarely on UCF and your head coach. Had he not continued to yell at plancher and pushing him to perform after he had collapsed on 3 occasions and then your staff failing to perform properly then he would be alive.... but it should never be said by your fanbase that it was the kids fault. You and I can disagree about alot, but please next time before you call me out, put your own fans in their proper place. No victim should ever be blamed. I hope we can agree on that.

RE: [split] USF's most experienced QB asks to leave program
I think blaming the victim in any circumstance is horrendous but http://csnbbs.com/thread-725905-post-117...d11762255. Here you are insinuating the victim of the happenstance of Leavitt's firing was lying. There were testimonies as you said but there were also testimonies during the trial that counter those. Like any trial there are certified witnesses for the defendants and plaintiffs. Yes, some may be misinformed that UCF did know about the sickle cell trait however the defense was based on an undiagnosed heart condition that led to his death. Do I know what it was? No, I'm not a pathologist. Btw Ucf has insurance to pay for lawsuits such as this, it's the insurance company that would have to pay out not UCF or its AA. UCF appealed bc they didn't feel as if it was as malicious as it was being portrayed. Once again, you're enitled your opinion.

The difference is Jared, USF actually fired our coach... you guys gave him an extension and a raise. Same is true for your coach who actively cheated.

You cant try to compare the two and it only makes UCF look even worse. When we have a coach who steps out of line, we take care of business and dont hide behind the win and loss column.

Like Ive always said, Id rather be on a losing team who can hold their head up with pride then to be UCF. Id never want to be at a school where the stuff yall let slide goes on.

RE: [split] USF's most experienced QB asks to leave program
I'm not going to dive into the specifics b/c that has been talked to death by both sides.

However, even the most black & gold wearing UCF fans have to agree that at ...most schools....two NCAA investigations and some of the alleged ugly comments that came out of discovery process during the Plancher tragedy would have been enough for GOL to get fired.

The ability of GOL to survive the last round of probations despite all his prior baggage gave a UCF program that was slowly building and getting better every year the stability it needed to reach where they are today. If they would have fired GOL....who knows how your new hire turns out. At most places coaching changes don't work out as the coach selected...sucks....or they are so good that wind up leaving for greener pastures.

In contrast, Leavitt didn't get the benefit of the doubt nor did the athletic dept try and protect him. His departure has obviously put USF's once rising program into disarray. I guess the irony is that I recall folks like STK and his 8 aliases used to cry how Jim Leavitt ran the university and the rest of Tampa. How did that work out for Leavitt.....as he got fired over some fairly weak investigation. BTW...I am not claiming that Leavitt was the next Bobby Bowden but there is.... NO FREAKING WAY....he let's the program deteriorate to it's current level. Taggart is trying to turn it around but Holtz the Destroyer just killed the program to the state that it's a complete rebuild.

I blame ECU for not matching USF to keep Skippy....lol
