Don't the women use a smaller ball? That helps a lot and is actually fairly consistent with the women beating the men - and a lot of it has to do with the size difference of the ball. I can easily palm a women's basketball and can barely do it with a men's ball - and only for about 3 seconds until it starts to slip out of the grip. That was about 8 years ago - but I assume the balls have not changed and that was before the Patriots introduced to the world the advantage of deflating a ball for a better grip - but only in cold weather.
Of course, some guy inevitably has to come up with an excuse for why a woman beat a man.
Some truth to it. But then men have other advantages.

The smaller ball is in fact an advantage - that was all I was pointing out. How much of an advantage - don't know because the misses are often by fractions of inches. There is no advantage to using the bigger ball. Does that help? I couldn't care less who wins a freaking exhibition like this. I didn't even watch it and have no reason to. Maybe the sports science guy can take a whack at it.
Of course, some guy always has to pick at every comment or observation on this board.
