There are some on here that were never really big football fans, and many that are. I believe there is room enough for us all in Blazer Fan land, i.e. BlazerTalk.

Ok. Let's talk about the subject of the thread then.

When do you believe the lighting system was approved?
Unlike Coach Haase's raise I believe this has been in the works for several weeks.

Should we discuss why & when our president decided to improve the lighting or is that relevant to the thread?

& just for the heck of it - was there an article that mentioned the lighting system? I may have missed it being focused on other things.

How much will it cost, etc?

I tend to remember when someone would comment "is it basketball season" on football threads. Annoying isn't it.

Look, lets not split hairs over it. The new lighting system will be great!!! It'll draw everyone in and make us all forget about football. It will return us back to a basketball only powerhouse in Alabama, where football is king. Haase is doing a great job and his raise, though earned, was a PR move by Watts. We still don't know where we're going to land and until something official is said we are still in C-USA until they kick us out, decide to keep us, or we leave.

Someone, maybe BBF mentioned how the other CUSA presidents might resent the fact that we have raised the bar concerning basketball coach's salary.

I'm sure they understand why Haase got the increase, however they cannot pass this off when it comes time to increase their coach's salary.

UTEP fans seem to think Floyd is in the million dollar range. White is currently 650k I believe. This is not an obscene amount to pay a coach in CUSA.

We all have our differences, but we all seem to agree that Bamanblazerfan is the standard for annoyance.
