No he said UT wants to keep him, but may be forced to fire him if the ncaa punishment is too harsh to justify keeping him around.

Big Dom fit through, so it must be pretty wide.

Tennessee Fires Donnie Tyndall
March 27th, 2015 7:59 am

Tennessee has fired head coach Donnie Tyndall after one season, multiple sources confirmed to SNY.tv.

“Just got the word he’s done,” one source said.

Gary Parrish of CBSSports.com first reported the news.

Tennessee finished 16-16 this season.

Tyndall met with Tennessee AD Dave Hart Thursday night after NCAA officials spoke with Tennessee officials earlier Thursday to provide details of what allegations would be levied against Tyndall, CBSSports.com reported Thursday.

Tyndall was being investigated by the NCAA for his time at Southern Miss from 2012-14.

Tennessee has two signed recruits in small forward Admiral Schofield and shooting guard Shembari Phillips.

Tough break for a good kid. Wonder if he'd come as an assistant coach. I'm sure he had at least a 2 year contract. Dude knows basketball.
