In the never ending Repub efforts to squeeze blood from a turnip
Scott Walker and his allies push legislation to abolish at least 1 day off a week for workers:

Bet $ that Rauner will hop on this bandwagon soon. Screwing with workers days off is not a smart political move

I worked four summers in a row in this liberal utopia of Illinois in a job that required one to show up seven days a week for weeks at a time.

Days off have just gotten out of hand. We should all work 7 days a week for as long as we are alive. Huskie games on Saturdays (just a few) or weeknights? Give 'em up!! Days off are way overrated. Just keep working every day until you die! You will die a lot younger and save the insurance companies a lot of money.

"Oh it's work all day (and now every day) for the sugar in your tay
Down beyond the railway
So drill, ye tarriers, drill."

Yeah. Rauner will be all over that. I still can't believe so many people fell for his BS when he was campaigning. I knew exactly who he was and what he would do.

That's what happens when nobody votes.

So did I, which is why I voted for him.

Me too. He didn't feed any BS during his campaign and he hasn't now. He's done exactly what he said he would.
