Middle Class Betrayal
http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/in-plain-...ca-n291741

But even with more education, working 18-to-34 year old adults are earning less than they did 15 years ago. Since 2000, real wages for people in that age group have fallen by a full 10 percent, according to Census data. Lower pay is not just a by-product of the most recent economic downturn. As corporate profits and productivity have increased in recent decades, wages for most workers have not kept pace. That means a shift in what kind of life workers can afford.

NYC - DC axis. We have become financial engineers with capital flowing to this axis. They work together significantly more than they do for the rest of the country

There has been a huge drop in median family income these past 6 years, the new administration is near thankfully. I think about 5000 per family over that time

Excellent graph this really hammers home my previous point, its that 4th, middle, and 2nd quintile which have taken the beating under this administration. The top 5% have remained steady.

Wtf are you looking at? The bottom 4 have remained fairly close to the same level since 1965.
