It goes by seeding. As a 1 seed, you'll probably get someone like Charleston Southern or St. Francis (NY). Here is the list I made.

I would rather have Charleston Southern though

There is no way William and mary is a bottom seed

Took out Syracuse and Alabama, added UConn and Montana. Maybe South Carolina over Vandy

If they do the seeding right and use RPI, then the following should be 8th seeds:

Montana, Bucknell, St. Francis and Charleston Southern

Colorado State would get Montana and we should get one of the other three.

Yeah, but I can see NC Central getting an 8 seed easily.

They can make travel very easy and make them both 8s and send NC Central here and W&M to UR.

Sick for our guys, but we did it to ourselves...even if the committee IS terrible.

EDIT: They must draw straws to see who works this show--one guy just said we spent a good portion of year in top 25.

ODU hosts Charleston Southern on Wednesday at 7:15

Richmond gets St. Francis.

And UConn or Arizona State if they win.

Charleston Southern has an RPI of #164.

Also, Bama is in, but just announced Anthony Grant is leaving.

Grant got fired.

Curious to see who else is in our bracket.

Charleston southern seems like a favorable first round matchup.

They will. They announced all #1 seed matchups first, then jumped into brackets.

I like that it will apparently be called the "ODU quadrant"

La Tech in as #3 seed playing CMU.

That's the way I look at it.

I am happy we don't have Miami and UConn in our quadrant.

Don't know, but that is a story to which we should stick. We are playing for 69th place, so maybe we could hang a banner like VCU....
