But it's just like I thought, most that have constant criticism of coach, when you ask them what should he have done differently, most can't tell you squat. Because you've turned against him he can't do anything right. Even though the team was in a position to tie the game, but a player missed a point blank shot, your blinded by your dislike to acknowledge it. And another thing, just by throwing money at another coach is no guarantee that he will take it. Last I looked, Smart was still at VCU, he's turned down jobs, same with Few at Gonzaga. Besides, I don't think the booster would pay just any coach Josh"s salary to start. Only a select few would command that, but I know that some of you would be happy with the CBU coach as well, as long as a change was made.

I agree the effort was there. Especially against UConn and Cincy. Today, I don't think we played particularly well. Either way, we can't keep saying coaching has not been one of the primary reasons for the disappointing season. We ended the season losing 4 of our last 5 games.

The entire season had too many sloppy, slow, telegraphed passes.

Turnovers were a non issue today since we only had 6 for the game.

Someday i want to sit down with Rick Crawford and find out why he dislikes us so much. Seems we are at a major disadvantage each time he officiates one of our game.s Remember him in the SMU game at the forum.

Just watched the game on my DVR. If both teams had shot their average from the 3 pt. line, I think we would have gotten the win. Unfortunately, they shot well above their average, and we shot below ours. I'm just going by what I saw. I did not check the stats, but I'm sure someone will post some stats to prove me wrong. There were a couple of phantom foul calls at the end that hurt, but did not cost us this game. JP did a reasonable job of coaching IMO.

If it was then Cal would still be here instead of taking a pay cut to take the UK job. A lot of these coaches know that the money is not worth the crap you have to put up with in such a no win situation. Coaches turn down higher paying jobs every year because the situation is not right.

No win situation??

When winning at a 73% rate with more wins than any other Tiger coach and more NCAA appearances than any other Tiger coach over 5 years along with being top 9 in the entire history of basketball for wins in first 6 years, is not enough to keep a job. Then it is a no win situation for a coach.

Since The Tigers joined the AAC Pastner has a whopping 63.6 winning percentage being 42-24 that's a far cry from the CUSA winning %.. His winning % total now is 71.1.. He has taken a pretty big hit the last 2 years since joining the AAC.. He could very well be in the 60's after next year.. He will likely be one to go down in the history books as setting records early in his career and then disappearing and having to do a google search to find out what the heck he's up to!!
