It drives me nuts when players go brain dead and do something that your average Boys Club player would know not to do. Little Rock gets the rebound, down 10, with less than 35 seconds to go in the half. The obvious thing to do is to hold for the last shot so the half will either end no worse than down 10, but with the possibility to go into the half down either 8 or even 7. So instead of doing that, Haggins comes down and jacks up a 3 with more than 10 seconds left. He misses and USA has a chance to extend the lead. They didn't, but still it was a dumb play on our part!

Josh is a talented kid, but even the announcers commented on his occasional bad decisions. But he didn't lose the game for us. We lost because we're just not a very good team. That was proved all season. When push came to shove, we just didn't have it. We lost our last three games, including tonight. We really had no business even being in the tournament.
I feel sorry for the kids. They gave it everything they had. Just didn't have all the components it takes to be a good team.
We might have won a few more games with James White, but even with him, we would have been a fourth or fifth place team. Oh well. Now we look to the future once again. Will the future be a reflection of the past? Or will it be a new day?
I heard an ad on TV today that said "You're either moving forward, or you're going backward". How appropriate for our program.

If there is money, you have to teboot the program by cleaning house.

Lots of the kids will be looking for a way out, so are going to lose a few there and not many will be looking to come here, so recruiting just got tougher.

Everyone in the current team has learned to lose at this point. The only way to break it up is to change out some of the major parts.
