1st day is in the books. I attended the night session and had a hell of a time. The BJCC looks great and I'm pleased with the overall environment. THEY HAVE BEER!

I'm sure everyone has heard that WKU traveled really well. They are going to be rowdy tonight. It's looking like we are going to have a pretty decent crowd as well. I believe we are better than WKU in all facets of the game. Let's send the Tops packing.

Rice looked pretty darn good. They hit 11 3's in the blow out. I don't think they'll make it past the next round however. A capable defensive team won't allow them that kind of space on the perimeter.

I'm predicting a MT upset and a UTEP win.

I say UTEP, ODU, and LA Tech all advance.

I've been around a lot of WKU fans. Very knowledgeable and impressive turnout. MTSU has had the second biggest showing, as expected. I'm curious to see if a bunch of La Tech and Old Dominion fans show up today. There was just a smattering of both yesterday.

The buzz around Uptown during the afternoon was really fun and exciting. There were coaches, fans, and players all over the place. I'm really pleased with how the tournament has gone so far. I imagine we could get the place hopping if we get matched up with La Tech tomorrow night.

La Tech should travel well. Not sure about ODU. I'm tempted to bring some Mars Bars tonight. lol

Saw Zac Woodfin there at the Ladies game today with his little son, talking with Tim, the leading cheerleader on campus and beyond for bringing back the Blazers Football program.

I'd be shocked if he didn't play. He started at FAU and played the whole game. He sat out at FIU for precaution.

Sorry. I edited my earlier post, but you guys were too quick. The round table announced he was a go for tonight, I did quick research and found a story that he would play, but it was from a few weeks ago.

So that to say, I didn't read it, but I did hear it from Jim Dunaway.
