I would think 16 games with divisions--- twice vs. other 5 in division, once vs. 6 in other division.

Divisions have contributed the problem with Sun Belt hoops. Coaches could win the division but be third in the league and got applauded for a great year. You had coaches doing "a pretty good job" by finishing second in the division but eight games back of the league leader.

Divisions are trophies for everyone.
