Just an FYI for those looking to get tickets for the NIU/OSU game...

"Chris Radford, NIU Ticket Office: Hello Bill. Because of the high demand we anticipate for this road game against the Buckeyes, the defending national champions, tickets will only be available to Huskie Athletic Fund donors beginning Monday, May 4. The number of tickets available to purchase is based on the 2015 donor level. If tickets remain, on Monday, June 8, season ticket holders will be able to purchase two tickets to the Ohio State game. According to information we have received, those tickets are $79 each."

Somehow I dont think NIU fans will be flocking for tickets to this game this year haha

Yeah, who would want to see NIU play in a historic stadium against the consensus #1 team in the country with one of the best college football coaches of all time. I was looking forward to this one. Buddy is getting married that weekend though so I'll be watching on Twitter.

I just don't think the normal tactic of threatening fans about tickets will work for this game. I always cringe to see exclusionary policies like this for NIUs fan base. Not sure we have the luxury of excluding fans

What in god's name are you talking about? They're giving priority to the people who support NIU athletics the most. Then they're opening availability up to regular season ticket holders. So now rewarding the people who support the program is bad? You're hilarious.

Yes, because it's so damn abnormal to offer tickets to donors before anyone else gets them. Only like 99% of colleges do it, but let's ***** about it!

I enjoyed the hell out of the game last time despite the crime scene that occured on the field.

We're not going & I probably won't watch most of it. Too painful for me to see NIU get murdered.
I didn't watch more than 10 or 15 min. of Arkansas game for the same reason.

Anyone think tix on stubhub will be semi reasonable?

I'm going to assume this is a joke. OSU would sell out every game if they played on 12 consecutive Saturdays

or 12 consecutive tuesdays

Yes...in reference to NIU's home schedule last year and having 3 consecutive Saturday games and our poor attendance for those 3 games.

You'll be able to get a deal on Stubhub. Just don't buy immediately. Prices will drop like crazy, week of and especially day of game.

You could go for under $10 if you play it right.
