You can stick a fork in the Tribe. They're done. We're NIT bound. We met up with a team that is red hot! The Tribe is not built in any way to compete at higher levels. We can finesse some guys and beat lessor teams. But, playing against the real players, it's not our makeup.
Still I hope we csn savor the win over Hofstra and get someone in the NIT that we can match up with.

Hard to say NU's shooting is fluky when every W&M loss involves the other team shotting lights out. This team was one of the worst defensively in the NCAA for a reason and it's reared its ugly head tonight.

We needed Omar's O tonight but he and Marcus look exhausted from yesterday.

Kentucky plays defense. As do most teams in the tourney.

No shame in this loss. NU was picked to win the CAA for a reason. I thought they looked really good against UNCW last night as well.

Not negativity. Frustration. We have had the pleasure of watching the best player in WM history the last four years. And we have lost two straight CAA finals, largely because we have a group of post players that belong in Division III or the Ivy League. That is no reflection on them as people, or their work ethic. Its just the truth. We have great guards, but our post recruiting is more suited to a lower level of competition. Marcus Kitts and Resthoven by the end of his career were the exception.
