The Bearcats now have won the series against top ranked UCF, beat Indiana, and just won the series against a solid Memphis program. Fantastic stuff!

Won in walk off fashion today 8-7. Cats now 11-22 on the season.

It is ironic that there seems to be an inverse relationship between how well UC baseball is doing and the discussion of "AAC Baseball" on the main conference board.

I was thinking they having nothing to talk about when not trashing UC.

Face it, the aac is mostly made up of CUSA teams that still resent UC for leaving for the BE and being a BCS school even for a little bit.

Maybe, but I see a lot of arrogance that AAC and its teams are beneath UC. UConn also gets a lot of the same treatment that UC gets because of this.

That said, I am glad UC is starting to get back on track. I was excited when they brought in this coach and I have liked what I have seen so far.

Ian Happ smacked 2 high off of 5/3rd arena on Sunday's contest vs Memphis. Kid looks like he is the real deal.

FYI, the $1 adult beverages is for UC students 21 and over. It is student appreciation night and they will have a dedicated stand in right field. Rumor has it that our AD Mike Bohn will be manning the grill for them.

Yes we play XU tonight as part of the Joe Nuxhall Classic. Tomorrow we will play either Wright State or Miami U.

Looks like XU is on a ten game losing streak right now. Should be a good opportunity for us tonight. Wright State has 22 wins already and should be tough tomorrow night if we both advance.

The Bearcats beat the Musketeers tonight 4 - 0! Hammons, the pitcher gets the complete game with 7 strikeouts.

Bearcats win 4-0. 6'8 freshmen Tristan Hammans throws a complete game only allowing three hits.

Bearcats play Wright State tomorrow at 7pm and will try to win this series for the second year in a row.
