Tom, I'm an open book on several things.. But my finances is not one of them. I mean honestly, if I didn't have some type of retirement plan set up, I could be offended.. Or how do I know you haven't doxxed me or hacked into one of my accounts and checked out my 401k.. I mean this is personal here.. You wouldn't want anyone doing that to you.. I mean if you were to post a picture of a random 401k account screen shot, I might get upset because it could possibly be mine.

Republicans just need to stay away from commenting on social issues. That strategy won't work. Because GOP candidates will be asked about such sensitive issues which will out them as either being socially conservative or social moderate. One will get a candidate castigated by the media and liberal while the other will incite Christian conservatives. This is one area where the GOP has failed. They should have gone back to their base and specifically told Christians...

1) We failed in the 90's with Civil Unions in parallel with Traditional Marriage. It should have been Civil Unions for all. We failed to properly examine precedent (separate not equal) and thus need to move on from this fight.

2) States Rights is not going to be a haven. See Loving vs. Virginia. Let's not wait for the Surpreme Court to rule against this and place the south in the same situation that it was in back in 1965.

3) We live in a nation where 'The Great Commission' is pretty much complete. What needs to be accomplished at this point is the idea of preserving Christianity in its current form. That can't be done by advocating that the gov't enact Church doctrine. The next big fight that is coming is the tax exempt status of places of worship that actively discriminate. If a church doesn't intend to perform gay marriages, it falls into this category. Get the church finances in order, but understand that their will be some allies when this issue gets raised.

Which really sucks for him because he appears to be in favor of civil unions and allowing states to have gay marriage if they choose to which is closer to the middle than what we normally saw in the past.

But he had to run his mouth off by commenting on gay couples being unfit to raise parents and that homosexuality being a choice which nukes any gains he would of made by being in the somewhat moderate section of LGBT issues.
