My email last night included a message form Joe Karlgaard, with a survey about Rice Stadium and the game-day experience.
The photos included in the survey are entertaining.
The first few are aerial shots.
This is the first with a crowd, and a big crowd too.
My first guess was a joint halftime appearance of The MOB and The Red Band.
Why don't I remember this?
We did a show with UH a few years ago, but that was in TDECU.
Further examination - there are empty seats for a band and a drill team on the west side.
This is a high school game.

The tiny version used in the survey:
The original version from the source:
The detailed part of the survey is asking about premium seating options, and starts with a view of the access-challenged Stadium Club, taken before the 2022 improvements like the brick, cleaning, removal of tarps.
But we're supposed to be focusing on the seats in the foreground.
Next is a proposed "1912 Founder Suite", with images from DKRTMS
and...
and...
Purple... hmmm... Ahhh - did they edit out the name on the TV screen?
No! TCU used identical designs, but these images are from Manhattan - Kansas State.
The first proposed Mini Suite image is from the Boston Celtics
The second Mini Suite image is from the Pittsburgh Steelers
The first proposed Loge Box image is from Texas Tech's Jones AT&T Stadium
The second is from Kentucky's Kroger Field expansion in 2015
They also tout loge box seating with a shared table top, very similar to our new Flight Deck seating.
Why not use our own stadium as an example?
The first two images they use are from Atlanta
The third is from Baylor
Next is a Lower Level Club.
We saw something like this in the Coliseum, when we played USC.
Does this go in around the tunnel, or eliminate it?
The first rendering is from Utah.
Next is an example from the Kansas Jayhawks Touchdown Club, which is new, and sold out, and filled with CGI fans.
Third is from Mizzou...
Next is an Upper Level Club, and there is no identifying info with the image
It claims to be a 15-minute survey, and includes questions/choices about pricing for the premium seating packages mentioned above, as well as other game-day experience items.
