Predicting over 25,000 fans for Cuse's NIT Game
18,000 tix sold in 2 days + 3-4,000 students already means 21,000+

Cuse should get the all time NIT attendance record.

Then NIT can be loads of fun for fans. It's a chance for the average fan to see the games down close, in seats usually reserved for big donors. Our NIT games in Freedom Hall last year were a blast.

Buying NIT tix becoming a way for Cuse fans to say "screw you" to the NCAA. The four weakest teams that got in over the Cuse all lost (some badly like Stanford and Arkansas). The irony is: the University has to turn the ticket revenue into the NIT to be revenue shared by all the tourney teams. They get to keep the concession and parking revenue--but no Beer sales allowed 04-jawdrop

Pretty sad when we outdraw Houston Football with 4 days of Ticket sales for the NIT.

Nice try at smack Cougar High--maybe you'll be back in the BB limelight someday.

Regarding Coogie's signature pic:

I suspect the camera was aimed in this direction because there were more players on stage then fans standing below who cared enough to show up for this event!

What can I say, maybe its more fun than it looks to have Tommy boy coach your team to the NIT every other year. Have fun in a few years when we start getting a whiff of NCAA violations or a scandal from good ole Tom! It'll make all those empty postseasons, NIT's, and if you're lucky 1 NCAA 1st round loss all seem worth it! 03-yes

Houston....23 years from their last NCAA win and counting!
