Ho-hum tourney so far
Other than the Duke-VCU finish (not a big upset, but an upset because of the name), these games have been snoozers. We need some buzzer-beaters in the worst way to spice things up.

As long as its not Louisville on the wrong end I agree. I've heard sports talking heads saying that the results of the tournament thus far have made the selection crew look like they knew what they were doing with the seedings. I call bullchit. If anything it has proven that some of their at large selections were beyond laughable.

I agree that this had been the most boring tournament in several years. There have been no major upsets and a lot of blowouts. Maybe this will lead to better games down the line, but as of right now the tourney has been highly disappointing

This is one of the most chalk tourneys ever so far.

First Round
-The #1-5 seeds were 20-0 in the first round
-The only double double digits to advance were #11's VCU & Winthrop

Second Round
-On day 3, 6 seed Vandy is the lowest seed to make the Sweet 16
-#1-4 seeds are now 22-2
-Only Memphis & Winthrop remain from 1 bid leagues

Just a guess, but I think this may be the first year ever that the top 5 seed lines went undefeated in the 1st round.

If all of Saturday's OT excitement and other close games didn't help cure your ills...don't know what else will.

Yes it did - we had some wild finishes yesterday. The advantage to the lack of 1st round upsets is you usually get better 2nd round games.
