SlyFox, I would like to nominate you to be our board mod. Your previous experience clearly shows you are the most qualified. We can always have an 2nd board mod so you are not tethered all the time. How about it?

There are just a few tweaks needed to finalize the appearance of our board. I've been playing with an animated gif wanting to present to everyone for their comments. Unfortunately, my graphic skills are lacking. Can anyone step forward with this skill and email the gif. Let's keep this in house, with a consensus before we have it board wide. I don't know if the graphic has to be static or can be animated. If it's static then static it is.

One note. "Flames Furnace", with flames atop and around the letters appeared graphically stunning. I know we had "The" included in our poll, but if we are able to use the animated gif, "The" may be a bit much. I had "Flames Furnace" with flames stacked directly over furnace and it really looked good with my rudimentary skill.

SlyFox, it would be great if you will step up.

I would like to be a mod if it was available. I don't know if I would be nominated but it is something I would enjoy.

No, I am all good. I barely have time to post these days. That's why I no longer own and run FlameFans.

I wouldn't mind being a mod. I think it would be pretty baller.

Anybody else want to nominate themselves or others? Let's wait until Sunday and then Monday create a poll to give everyone ample time. SlyFox has declined when nominated, and Curtis and GEandMTS have both expressed interest. Anyone else?

If it is just Curtisc83 and I then I think we should be co-moderators if that is possible. I have seen other boards have multiples and I don't see why our board couldn't.

Let's follow the direction of the board mod with there being elections. There could be others to come forward. It great that you and Curtis have stepped up and it may play out as you suggest.

I'm sorry I didn't know it was the board mod's decision we only have one mod for us. Your first message didn't indicate that or I read it incorrectly.

I'm sorry I didn't know it was the board mod's decision we only have one mod for us. Your first message didn't indicate that or I read it incorrectly.

He said that we were to have elections. Not that we could only have one board mod. I also have seen multiple mods on other boards.

I'm from the old school where nominations come from others than from oneself. Sure, I would be happy to add my name to the mix. I also think we should have a 2nd mod. Thanks for the thought.

Great. It's good to have posters nominating for Mods. To date here are the nominees in order nominated:
- Curtisc83
- GE and MTS
- NewTimes
- Knucklehead

Let's close the nominations at midnight Sunday as that should provide everyone ample time. On Monday, we can create our poll and have it run 2-3 days, again providing ample time. Then we'll have our mods. If everyone is in agreement, let's vote for 2 as that seems a wise move as previously mentioned. If anyone has any different thoughts please reply back. Just trying to keeps us on track with these final tasks for our board.

What kind of jet packs? Are they environmentally safe or do they run on baby blood?
