Wait.. You are uber excited the President just eliminated thousands of union jobs, but now you're all in when someone from the right says something that's being construed as an insult from a liberal rag..

Boy you are a rubix cube aren't you.

The only comparison made between Unions and ISIS in that story was made by the Union spokesfuck.

YES,

We agree Brokeback. People shouldn't throw out bombastic rhetoric. ESPECIALLY ONE THAT IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT UNDER ONE OF THE TWO Major Political Parties. The cute quip on Nazi Germany and Mussolini. Again, read a book and become educated. Read where the movement started. Also read up on how fascists had a propaganda campaign against Jews and trade Unions and how they escalated it. Drip by drip. These drips became a stream, then a river, and then a waterfall. WALKER just compared his battles with Unions and they would prepare him to battle with mass murderers. AN ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING COMPARISON and UNION MEMBERS EVERYWHERE SHOULD BE APPALLED!

As for credibility, people lose credibility with me when they are not honest. Loyalty and Honesty are the bedrocks of credibility in my world. Maybe in your neck of the woods it's something different. When someone shows conviction and they do not set out to deceive they are fine in my book. Many people on here are my ideological 180 but they have tons of credibility. You on the other hand, who knows. I know exactly where my comparisons begin and end. I am also well aware that Nazi Germany doesn't fit neatly into our left and right paradigms. However, we should NEVER ignore History. Fascism definitely started out as a far right ideology. They banned Unions and called their leaders called them obsolete. This should raise eyebrows across the political spectrum. When we can't look back and learn from the past we are doomed to repeat it.

Why won't the liberals and media go after Jeb Bush? That said, this was definitely a gaffe.

You can't downplay ISIS when some left-winger says right-wingers are more dangerous, then turn around and feign outrage when a right-winger makes a vague (not even direct) comparison. Stop being a hypocrite.

No, no one has downplayed what ISIS has done. They've attempted to keep the actual risk they portray to the US in the rational range, but that in no way excuses ISIS actions, simply their ability to perpetrate them in a manner which quantifiable affects the United States. I'm sure there are some rapist piece of sh*ts living in Siberia, and me stating that they don't pose some massive threat to the United States doesn't excuse them for their terrible acts. It's the exact same thing here. By all accounts, they're horrible human beings who deserve to suffer far worse fates than I can imagine, but that doesn't mean it's rational for me to start buying ammunition for their incoming invasion.

Can we be adults and actually listen to each others arguments instead of this sort sh*tposting?

Number one, there is nothing in his statement that compares unions to ISIS.
Number two, the left can dish it out, but they obviously can't take it.

It doesn't matter, Mach always puts his blinders on when it comes to unions. Rational objections matter little at this point.

I'll make it super duper simple for you:
Has Scott Walker called for the extermination of all Union members? No? Than your comparison is willfully ignorant, inaccurate and inflammatory. It serves no purpose but to try to promote your cause by minimizing one of the greatest monstrosities of the 20th Century.

As for the actual comment, I did not read where Walker equated ISIS and Unions.

Ah, public employee unions…people that don't actually negotiate with the people that provide the money for the paychecks, but with politicians that take the money by force and have a symbiotic relationship with the unions. How could any reasonable person think there's something wrong with that?

The thought of having another public-employee-union-hating libertarian ultra-capitalist president like FDR really is scary.
