It's the same document leaked on Twitter by vikingblazer91, who is now presumably in a vat of hydrochloric acid somewhere in the science lab. Who woulda thought this guy would help us break the case wide open?

I think we all owe a debt of thanks to the unnamed brave souls who provided these documents to John Archibald because they did so at great personal risk.

In an email this morning, John indicated that would have made this article even stronger, but he found that the $615,000 had not yet been approved and spent although, as indicated in the article, they had spent a good bit of it already.

Not only did this article expose Watts, it accurately portrays it as disingenuously following the PR script laid out for him. This paints as a lie everything he has done with "moving forward" campaign.

I am forwarding this article to my friends on the Alumni Board. Watts lied to them. I now believe he has zero intention of bringing back football.

I wonder who made all the handwritten notes and changes? If it's an internal UAB person, it just goes to show you how creating a false narrative is confusing—even for your own PR firm.

They were actually deluded into believing they were playing a "clever game of chess." Unfortunately the game is rigged; it's always been rigged...

I was assured by a NAS official that they felt certain that football would be restored. Of course this is after I had gave them an earful about this whole brewhaha. You should have seen the bewildered look I got when I said Ray Watts needed to go. They truly don't see the anger......

I shows they have zero intention of bringing football back and Watts and Clay Ryan are liars.

I don't believe he was hired to "bring football back" after he killed it. Until he gets those instructions from the western UA campus, he will attempt to just ride out the crisis and cash his paychecks. After all, they are the ONLY ones who can "torpedo his boat", and he keeps a lot of the heat off them.

How thick can you get ? Unless they are lying to you, then your NAS source knew exactly what was going on.

I also found interesting Archibald's statement that the $615k was for a proposed UAB "Ain't Watts Great?" campaign, not for the BoT's "Don't we treat UAB well?" campaign, which cost $125k "and no public money was used."

So who paid for it with their own personal money? Or did they dip into corporate coffers instead?

PB Jr. Has lost that much in the couch cushions while Brooks works on his staff.

There's so much exploding dynamite that it's hard to keep track, but we have written evidence of Direct Communications in direct communication with Karen Brooks. Is this not further direct evidence of Board interference/micromanagement?

The administrstion at UAB, our leadership and its reps refer to this situation as "war." Wow! - If taxpayers disagree with a taxpayer funded institution, their opinion is to be treated as an adversary who needs to be destroyed? So, Watts' vision of UAB Forward is to declare "war" on his students, alumni, donors, faculty and business community. How can this be tolerated? Clay Ryan is in the room wasting good peoples time who sincerely want change and football back and he is the guy who is choreographing the "WAR", this must be changed. Watts is not at all sincere and we have proof all of this was a plan to win their WAR against us the supporters.

Ryan needs to go from the committee NOW!!

The committee was intended to be nothing more than a way for Watts to kick the can down the road a few months.

Most on it mean well, it is just that Watts has no plans of overturning anything.

Clay Ryan should be off that task force ASAP! This should be DEMANDED at the next meeting. If he refuses to go throw his ass out and lock the door. Tell him to report back from there.

We all know Watts has no intention to bring the sports programs back no matter what it says but we still need to go through the motions and prove our case. Ryan just needs to be off it now.
