Just a thought on the current state of the WWE, which is always a reflection of current pop culture.
THE BEAST INCARNATE Brock Lesner is the unbeatable world champion. He has a spokesperson known as the "False Prophet" Paul Heyman.
The "Authority" of the show is the "King of Kings" HHH and his evil Queen wife Stephanie McMahon.
The hidden power behind the authority is the true puppet master Vince McMahon, but you never see him. Still all the fans know he is the hidden power behind the power. The "god" of wrestling, though he is virtually invisible.
We also have Death himself, The Undertaker, who is currently "dead" but about to return.
We also have an evil, demon possessed man with many followers in Bray Wyatt.
We also have the rising "Roman Empire" in Roman Reigns, who was blessed by the "Great One", the Rock. He faces the "Beast Incarnate", at WM.
We also have the "Face" of the WWE, the VIPER Randy Orton.
We also have a rising new tag team, The Ascension, with their illuminati symbols and telling people "welcome to the wasteland".
We also have a born B+ player who has overachieved beyond all logical accounts and has become the most popular wrestler in the world. They call him Daniel.

Brock Lesner was a championship wrestler at Minnesota. Just found that out by walking by an entire case of this trophies and memorabilia on campus last week.
I might rather run into three armed gang members than one irate Brock Lesner in a dark alley.

This is something worth keeping an eye on.

I doubt it. His check for Wrestlemania alone is probably more than everyone else in the company not named John Cena makes in a year. Whatever he is pissed about, he will get over it.
I would laugh big time though, if it happened. I'm a big wrestling fan, but Vince McMahon (granted, he has a great run in the 90's) is out of touch and does nothing but piss off talent and fans. Rather than push gifted wrestlers who are massively over with the fans (Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose), he'd rather hand pick his favorites and try to mold them into something that they're not. First it was Cena, now it is Roman Reigns.
Reigns winning the Royal Rumble was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. He got booed out of the building, because the fans were smart to McMahon trying to shove this guy down their throats. If he beats Lesnar (who has been booked like a freak of nature) at Wrestlemania, they are going to have their biggest show of the year close to some of the most epic boos you've ever heard.
I don't agree or disagree with what you stated. Thing about Cena is that in 03/04 he was built up organically and was really Vince's 3rd choice after Batista and Orton. The problem w/ Cena is that he really hasn't changed his gimmick post-05. With Reigns, he's being sling shot to the top of the line and unfortunately for him, that **** shot is going to be more like a boomerang when the fans reject him at WM. The biggest insult to the fans is Daniel Bryan not even getting a sniff at one of the top 4-5 matches on the WM card. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire event is a flop and they are practically forced to turn Reigns heel and make Bryan the face of the company at Summer Slam. Ziggler will never really be a main eventer. He's a Mr. Perfect or Rowdy Piper type star. He's nothing more than a midcard/upper midcard guy. Ambrose will definitely be a star someday. Like Reigns, he's really not ready to make that next step up, and TBH, Rollins really isn't either. But they are building both organically the way that they should be building up Reigns.
I'll be at the Raw in a few weeks in Pittsburgh. Should be a fun time.

Nice. Lesnar is advertised for that show, so if he isn't there, we'll know something is up.
I actually like the way the card if coming together. I'll be there, as well as Raw the next night in San Jose.
The IC ladder match should be legit with workers like Ziggler, Ambrose, and Truth in it. I'm hoping they call Neville up from NXT and put him in it, as well. Dude is a freak, athletically, and tailor made for ladder matches. The buildup for Taker v. Wyatt has been intense. HHH v. Sting speaks for itself. I'm actually looking forward to Reigns v. Lesnar now, just for the opportunity to hijack the show. I (as well as 70k other diehards) dare Vince to book Reigns to win.
The only question is where Bryan goes. At this point, it looks like either v. Sheamus or in the IC match. Last night on Smackdown, they hinted at him being in the IC match, but I don't see that happening.

And a bigger no..... as good as that Neville might be in the future, putting him in that bout would be making the same mistake the WWE has made the past several years.

It'll be Bryan vs Sheamus
He (Neville) doesn't have to win, just let him do his thing in with 2 or 3 big spots, and bring more excitement to the match. I don't see how it is that risky of a proposition. With that said, there is nothing (other than his rumored debut being soon) that indicates they are planning on doing so, that was just something I thought of.
