They are going to be well ahead of the kids that wait until they are 8-10 to try to play, despite athletic talent.

It's not a guarantee, but to deny that black weren't breed during slavery for physical optimization is naive. Again, just compare both Serena Williams and Michelle Obama. You know the most exercise the First Lady has probably done is cardio related. Yet her shoulders and back are easily as broad as Serena's. Many black women choose not to lift for the same reason (hair is of course #1), its relatively easy for them to put on muscle mass.

She is 51 with 2 teenagers, imho not too bad. I feel bad for some black women because some don't think they are the ideal american women (advertising/media) and they have the black girl hair issue. 1/2 of the white women I see are overweight to vastly overweight.

Two days ago I watched the old movie Naked Prey. They showed a lot of African women and none of them were obese. Same thing for the men except for the guy who played the leader of the village. If I went to Africa today would the black women I see there look the same as the black women I see here? Also, another thing to consider; when we look at old paintings the women were typically chubby or very Rubenesque. So are body styles changing or what?

That body style was considered ideal back then because it meant you had plenty to eat and likely weren't doing lots of backbreaking labor - you were rich!

The average peasant likely had no fat as they did physical labor every day and having enough to eat was problematic as well.

Just a guess - the black women in Africa are still similar to what they once were.

Face it - upwards of 1/2 of America are blubbers today - both men and women. If we could just return to those backbreaking days of planting by hand again.............
